That journey inspired Rallying for Robert. What began as a small show of support grew into a community movement—partnering with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation and local organizations to raise awareness and support those living with inflammatory bowel disease.

Today, the Rallying for Robert Foundation exists to give hope, build awareness, and remind others facing Crohn's and Colitis that they are not alone.

My Story

In 2018, I began experiencing ongoing stomach pain that gradually took over my life. What started as something I thought would pass turned into years of worsening symptoms, unanswered questions, severe weight loss, and repeated hospital visits.

In May 2020, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease—a lifelong condition with no cure. Despite treatment, the disease remained unpredictable, leading to multiple procedures and eventually life-threatening complications.

Critical Moment

In 2021, my condition became critical when my intestine ruptured, causing sepsis and requiring emergency surgery that saved my life.

Even after surgery, the disease returned, and in 2022 I underwent another major operation. For years, Crohn's dictated what I could eat, how I felt, and how I lived. With the right medical care, treatment plan, and a renewed focus on health, I finally began to regain control.
